We Need Help With the Internet
I’d really like to find a good company out there that helps small business owners not only with mundane things like W-9’s and how to set up accounts and such, but also with e-commerce, marketing, a shopping cart template or whatever.
My husband runs a small company with no employees, though he pays sub-contractors and he 1099’s them. He just yesterday, February 19, looked into how to give these guys 1099’s. At the same time, I’m trying to qualify with my son for a small rental house, but my husband’s work truck somehow got onto my credit report. The lender said all I needed were the cancelled checks showing that the business has made all the payments on the car loan…but my husband has been using a personal checking account for his business as well, and so I have no paper proof that this is a business truck.
Who can he turn to to lay out plainly and simply the things he needs to be sure and do to protect himself? And more than that, how to clarify all he’s supposed to be doing? The SBA did tell him about getting an LLC and a small business loan. But isn’t there any resource that’s more accessible? Perhaps on the internet?
