Frustrated With Hiring Writers
I get very frustrated at times when I try and outsource some of my articles to other writers. One constant problem that I have is working with writers that claim to have a firm grasp on American English but actually write in a style that is clearly from India.
Of course, I have gotten a little better at spotting some of these writers. When I put out feelers for writers, I watch out for those that tell me that they can provide content that is keyword rich. When I see this type of reply, then I know that they are someone that is used to writing content intended for SEO optimization as opposed to quality content.
SEO writers are fine if I am looking to sell some type of SEO package, but when I hire for a writer, I want someone that will provide a quality article. If the article needs to be keyword rich, then I will tell them. Otherwise, I need articles that will tell a story, not articles to drive content.
As “Field of Dreams” stated, if you build it, they will come. Provide quality content to users, and they will come back to your site. Provide garbage, and they will can you.
