Customizing your blog isn’t as difficult as you might thing. There are a variety of free templates available for download on the Web that look nothing like the standard, canned templates usually offered by blog platforms. Another thing you might want to consider is getting your own web hosting. Free blogs are great, but the URL you get — usually something like yourblog.blogspot.com — leaves a lot to be desired. Having your own URL will allow you the ultimate customization of your blog! Shared hosting, which is perfect for small sites such as personal blogs, typically isn’t all that expensive.
The important thing to remember here is that your blog is YOUR space — which basically means you can do with it whatever strikes your fancy. Don’t be afraid to cut loose and customize your blog!
