Although you’re considering this, you may also be hesitant because you really don’t want to get rid of your gold jewelry. Perhaps there is some other gold that you can sell instead?
Gold coins are one alternative that many people can go with. Some people have gold coins that they can either sell because those coins are valuable or they can sell scrap gold out of them. You’ll want to consider these two options carefully. You can get more for gold coins as is if they’re in good condition but otherwise you’ll probably want to sell them for scrap.
Another type of gold that you might be able to sell is the gold that’s in your teeth. That’s right, there are some people who still have dental gold and those people can actually work with a dentist to extract that gold, replace the fillings with modern fillings and then sell the gold for cash. It’s probably easier to sell gold jewelry but this is certainly another option that’s available to you if you don’t want to get rid of your jewels.
