The Shop
I have been really excited about the new Tattoo designs I’ve been working on at the shop the last couple of days. I’ve added a bunch of different types to display from butterfly tattoos to tribal tattoos. I think this will really help expand my customer base. I’ve also managed to hire a couple more artists this week, and just finished the brand new display I had been working on for all of the tattoo types we do. It has been very rewarding to personalize the shop, and I think it will really draw a much bigger crowed now that we’ve done some marketing.
It has helped a lot to be close to the college campus since most of our business comes from the twenty-something crowd. Hopefully the ads will attract a broader age spectrum, and maybe even some repeat visitors. I’m glad to see that the shop has been doing okay, and we’ve actually been turning a bit of a profit. It gives me a great sense of pride to know where this place started, and what it has been transformed into almost overnight. I’m pretty lucky to have a good staff too, they are truly a bunch of very talented artists.
